The Royal Gazette has published Royal Decree issued under the Revenue Code (No. 805) B.E. 2569 (2026) to promote the use of solar energy. The decree provides income tax exemptions for the purchase and installation of solar power systems, effective from March 3, 2026 to December 31, 2028.
The measure applies to both individuals and corporate entities, encouraging investment in solar power generation systems as well as energy-efficient machinery and equipment.
This policy aims to promote clean energy adoption, enhance Thailand’s energy security, and support the country’s goals of achieving carbon neutrality and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions in the future.
